About the event
Zoolightful is the Henry Doorly Zoo's evening holiday lights event, presented by Hy-Vee. It has light and lantern displays, an ocean-themed section, Santa's North Pole, storytime, food and drinks, and private igloo lounges.
It runs from 6:00 to 9:30 PM, Wednesday through Sunday, plus some December Mondays and Tuesdays (Dec. 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29). Children 2 and under get in free with a paid adult.
Tickets are separate from daytime zoo admission and can sell out, so buying ahead is recommended. Members get a discount.
