Gretna Days

Gretna's small-town summer festival, with a Saturday parade and a Sunday community picnic.

Late July weekend · Downtown Gretna

Gretna Days is the annual summer festival for Gretna, a fast-growing town on Omaha's southwest edge. It is run by the volunteer Gretna Days Foundation, which describes it as a continuation of the town's long tradition of a small-town summer celebration.

The 2026 festival included a Saturday parade on July 25 and a community picnic on July 26, with other family events around town.

If you are staying out near the Gretna outlets or headed toward Mahoney State Park, it is a friendly local event to drop into.
