Heartland Pride is Omaha's annual Pride celebration, held downtown over a weekend in July. The 2026 edition ran under the theme Pride is a Protest and moved its daytime festival indoors and around the Holland Performing Arts Center and the Tenaska Center, with an evening show at Steelhouse Omaha.
Saturday morning starts with the parade through downtown, which in 2026 began near 16th and Capitol and finished near 12th and Mike Fahey Street. The Downtown Omaha business group expected about 5,000 spectators and 500 participants.
The afternoon festival brings together more than 200 vendors, makers and community groups, followed by an evening of performances. Bars in the Old Market and downtown host parties all weekend.
