The Omaha Art Fair is the city's big early-summer art show, held over a June weekend in Aksarben Village. It began in 2025 as the successor to the Omaha Summer Arts Festival, which wrapped up a 50-year run in 2024, so the tradition of a large juried outdoor art show in Omaha carries on under a new name.
The 2026 fair drew more than 160 artists from across the country, selling work in painting, ceramics, jewelry, photography, glass, wood and more. Booths line the walkable streets and green space of Aksarben Village, which has restaurants, coffee shops and patios right alongside the fair.
Admission is free, which makes it an easy add-on to a summer weekend in Omaha. Families wander with strollers, collectors come early for the best pieces, and plenty of people simply make an afternoon of browsing, eating and listening to music.
