The Omaha Home & Garden Expo is the city's traditional sign that spring is on the way. Produced by Mid-America Expositions, the 2027 show is the 61st annual edition, and it takes over the CHI Health Center convention halls for a long weekend in late winter.
Inside you will find contractors, remodelers, window and roofing companies, landscapers, pool and patio builders and garden centers, plus a Fresh & Local Marketplace of food and craft vendors. Homeowners come to collect quotes and ideas, and plenty of locals come just to wander the displays and get a dose of green before the snow melts.
For visitors it is an easy, low-cost indoor outing on a cold weekend. It pairs well with a meal in the Old Market or a walk along the riverfront if the weather cooperates.
