Infusion Brewing Company
The remaining Infusion taproom, in southwest Omaha, with year-round beers including a hazy IPA, Mexican-style lager and a vanilla bean blonde. It also runs a member group called the Secret Society of Malt and Hops.
Infusion Brewing Company was founded by Bill Baburek, an Omaha brewery historian who opened the Crescent Moon Ale House in 1996, billed as Nebraska's first craft beer bar. He bought a historic Benson building in 2012 and built a production brewery in southwest Omaha in 2016. He later added the Little Bohemia and Benson taprooms.
The company began selling in western Iowa in 2018, moved to cans only in 2020 and added hard seltzers in 2021. The southwest Omaha taproom at 6271 S 118th Street has an outdoor patio, and the company also runs taprooms in Benson and Little Bohemia. Snacks are listed as an amenity at the taproom.
Year-round beers include Trip hazy IPA, Pickle Slam pickle lager, Infusion Premium Lager, El Squatcho Mexican lager and Vanilla Bean Blonde Ale, with seasonal, vanilla bean and seltzer lines rotating. The location lists snacks, and brewery tours can include meat, cheese and pretzels. It fits a casual visit to sample local beer, especially for groups that enjoy flights and a patio. The taproom is closed Mondays and stays open late on Fridays and Saturdays.
