Clase Codigo

An upscale-casual Mexican restaurant in west Omaha with a stylish dining room, a flight of salsas with your chips and showy plates like bowls served in a hollowed-out pineapple.

Clase Código is a modern Mexican restaurant at 3350 S. 143rd Plaza in west Omaha, in the building near Oakview Mall that previously housed an Applebee's. Grow Omaha's review, published January 1, 2026, said it had been open only a few weeks. The review named Juan Perez as the investor, Alejandro Jaime as general manager and a chef called Francisco running the kitchen. The site describes a contemporary twist on classic recipes.

The exterior was refreshed in white and black, and the review noted that parking can be tight. The restaurant has a full bar with handcrafted margaritas and cocktails, plus dine-in, takeout and delivery. Reservations are not taken in the usual way; the website offers a Toast waitlist, and the restaurant also takes private dining and event bookings with custom menus.

The menu is large. Featured dishes include birria tacos, enchiladas, carne asada, queso fundido and tableside guacamole, along with red wine braised short ribs, truffle cream pasta and an avocado citrus salad. The Grow Omaha review also singled out a Piña Bowl served in a carved pineapple. Vegetarian choices include veggie tacos, a veggie bowl and chile rellenos, and lunch is offered weekdays.

It works for family dinners, margarita-led nights out and groups that want a showy plate. The site lists Sunday through Friday 11 am to 9:30 pm and Saturday 11 am to 10 pm, though its intro text says Friday closes at 10 pm, so confirm when planning a late dinner. A rewards program earns points on online orders.
