Happy Bar is a tavern on North 16th Street at the north edge of downtown Omaha. Grant Triplett included it in taxi diver, his 2021 compendium of Omaha dive bars, and told Omaha Magazine in 2023 that he believes it is the second-oldest bar in the book, which includes bars that have been open for 60 to 100 years. His chapter on it jokes that someone was probably drinking there when President Kennedy was shot.

It is roughly a mile from the Old Market (an estimate) and suits a visitor who wants an old-school bar rather than a cocktail lounge. Call or check the bar's social page before going.
