Dolomiti Pizzeria & Enoteca

A pizzeria and wine bar in The Ashton with a pistachio-green oven, vintage tile and reclaimed wood. The pies are Northern Italian in style with a sturdier crust than Neapolitan, with a weekly seasonal pizza, salumi and cheese boards, and spritzes.

Dolomiti Pizzeria & Enoteca is a wood-fired pizzeria and wine bar in the Millwork Commons district just north of downtown. The official site describes its sourdough pizzas as Northern Italian in influence, built around a long-fermented crust that sits between thin Neapolitan style and something sturdier. The address is 1105 N 13th Street, and the official site places it in the historic Millwork Commons neighborhood.

The menu is seasonal and split into small plates, salads, 12-inch pizzas and sandwiches. Small plates run from marinated olives and meatballs to seasonal burrata and fritto misto. Pizzas range from a straightforward Margherita to zucca, patata and mortadella, and there is always a weekly special. Italian-leaning wine and cocktails round out the program.

Dolomiti is easy to recommend to groups because the format is built for sharing. Vegetarian items are labeled, several dishes are marked gluten-free, and vegan cheese is available for a surcharge. Hours are Tuesday through Sunday, and reservations are taken on Resy, which is worth using for dinner on event nights.
