Harrah's Council Bluffs' 4,000-guest outdoor concert venue on the Missouri River, running a summer series of touring rock, country and pop acts.
Stir Concert Cove is the outdoor music venue at Harrah's Council Bluffs Casino & Hotel, just across the Missouri River from downtown Omaha. Harrah's describes it as a 4,000-guest, 36,000-square-foot space. It marked its 20th anniversary in 2023, and past headliners named by Harrah's include Diana Ross, the Goo Goo Dolls and Pentatonix.
Stir Cove is a seasonal venue. Its concert series runs through the warm months; the 2023 season, for example, ran from mid-May to the end of August. Lineups lean toward classic rock, country, pop, alternative and hip-hop acts on tour. General admission and VIP options are offered, and the VIP deck and patio areas include a private bar plus indoor, air-conditioned space for patio guests.
The venue is cashless: guests tap a card or mobile wallet to enter, and purchases at the Rhythm & Brews bar are charged to that payment method. The bag policy allows clear plastic, vinyl or PVC totes, one-gallon clear freezer bags, or a small clutch up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches. Large purses and backpacks are not allowed. Harrah's does not post a general age policy for the venue, so check each show listing.
Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster links on the Harrah's Council Bluffs shows page. Because the casino and hotel are on site, Stir Cove is easy to pair with dinner at one of Harrah's restaurants. On nights with big shows in Council Bluffs, traffic and parking can get busy, and Council Bluffs police sometimes post parking guidance, so allow extra time to get there.
