Omaha Children's Museum turns part of its downtown building into Cobweb Castle each fall, a Halloween tradition meant for young kids who like costumes more than frights.
Children can climb a castle wall, try on a sorcerer's cap, wind through a spooky maze and burn off energy in active play areas, all included with regular museum admission.
The season wraps up with Trick or Treat Days on October 30 and 31, when the museum runs all-day trick-or-treating and activities. The museum also hosts a Santa's Arrival family weekend after Thanksgiving and a New Year's Eve celebration, so it is worth checking the calendar for any holiday visit.
