Champions Run calls itself Omaha's family country club, and the amenities back that up: a busy pool and swim team, tennis and pickleball, a fitness center and kids' camps alongside the golf.
The course stretches past 7,200 yards from the black tees, with five sets of tees bringing it down to about 5,300. A creek and two lakes come into play on nine holes, which keeps the round interesting from every tee.
Holes 1 and 10 both ask you to carry the creek in front of the green, and holes 2 and 18 offer split fairways where the wind and your tee choice decide the line.
Play is for members and their guests. Outside groups can sometimes arrange outings and events through the club.
