Miracle Hill was built by the Davis family on the old Friesland Farms dairy in the early 1960s and is still a west Omaha institution. The 18-hole course plays to par 70, so it is a bit shorter than a typical championship layout, with tree-lined fairways and generous greens.
The lower par makes it a good round for mid and high handicappers, and the pace tends to be quick. Better players will still find the tight corridors ask for accuracy off the tee.
The practice setup is a big draw: a driving range with eight Toptracer bays, a separate 100-yard wedge range and a short game area. There are also lessons, club fitting and indoor tennis and pickleball courts.
It works well for a quick round near the Regency and Westroads area hotels, or for a practice session if you just want to hit balls.
