Eagle Run is a short-course complex in west Omaha with two separate nine-hole layouts. The Links is an executive course that plays to par 32 with a mix of par 3s and short par 4s, while The Meadows is a straight par-3 nine that is perfect for beginners and kids.

The Links has wide, rolling fairways and greens with plenty of movement, so it is friendly off the tee but still asks you to putt well. The Meadows is quick and relaxed, a good place to work on wedges and short irons or introduce someone new to the game.

The course has been running since 1990 and recently renovated its clubhouse and menu. A TruGolf simulator lets you play or practice in any weather, which is handy in winter.

It suits families, beginners, seniors, and anyone with a couple of hours to spare who wants an easy, budget-friendly round on the west side.
