Platteview has been part of the Bellevue golf scene since 1966. The course was laid out by Lawrence Packard, a well-known Midwest architect of that era, and its greens were rebuilt in 2000.
At about 6,500 yards it is not a monster, but the club is respected enough to have hosted a 2025 U.S. Senior Amateur qualifier. Expect a classic parkland feel with mature trees.
The clubhouse has The Players Grill, a banquet room and a pool, and there is a junior golf program. The club is managed by Landscapes Golf Management.
Day-to-day play is private, but the club does welcome public golf outings, so it can be an option for a group trip or company event.
