Warren Swigart is a City of Omaha par-3 course with nine holes and just over 1,200 yards in total. Most holes call for a wedge or short iron, with one longer hole of more than 200 yards that asks for a real strike.
Because it is short and inexpensive, it is one of the easiest places in town to introduce someone to the game. Families, juniors and new golfers can play at their own pace without feeling pressure from the group behind, and experienced players use it to tune up their iron game.
The setting is a quiet neighborhood park in northwest Omaha. Facilities are simple, and you will usually be done in about an hour.
If you are staying in central or west Omaha and want a low-key round with the kids, or just want to hit some approach shots in a real course setting, this is a good stop.
