Revival House

A tiki lounge on the ground floor of the 37 West Farnam building, with tropical plants, bold wallpaper and neon, plus garage-style doors that open to the street. The cocktails come with exotic garnishes and sometimes a bit of heat.

Revival House is a cocktail bar brand with locations in Des Moines and Omaha; the Blackstone bar sits at 3737 Farnam St in the ground floor of the 37 West Farnam building. The company describes its mission as reviving a spirit of exploration, drawing on exotic drinking culture and adding a playful, rebellious streak to the glass.

The space is built around lush textures, neon accents and funky patterns, and the look is unmistakably tiki-inspired. Our own listing notes garage-style doors that open toward the street for open-air seating. Drinks arrive with bold flavors, unexpected garnishes and sometimes a little heat, and the bar is also set up for birthdays and private events.

There is no kitchen. The menu invites guests to bring in whatever they are craving, with outside food welcome, while the bar handles the drinks. The list covers frozen and classic cocktails, shots and a booze-free section. It is a good fit for groups, anyone who wants to pair takeout with a themed cocktail, and late-night plans since the bar stays open until 2 am.
