Dundee Dell
A Dundee neighborhood restaurant and pub, in business since 1934, with a Pine Room lounge devoted to whisky and cocktails. The single malt collection is among the largest in the country and live music plays Thursdays and Fridays. The kitchen serves elevated British and American pub food.
The Dundee Dell has been a Dundee fixture since 1934 and describes itself as Omaha's oldest restaurant. The business was recently renovated, and Executive Chef Jared Combs now leads a kitchen that the venue says serves elevated British and American pub food with house-made touches. The building is divided into three areas: the bar, the restaurant and the Pine Room, a whisky and cocktail lounge.
The Pine Room stays open after the dining room closes and is where the Dell's single malt collection, which it calls one of the largest in the country, is the main attraction. The food menu includes pub classics such as fish and chips, bangers and mash, cottage pie, a Reuben and a Wagyu double cheeseburger, plus salads and shareable starters like a Scotch egg.
The drinks menu pairs Irish and English drafts with seasonal cocktails and a pair of zero-proof options. Come for dinner and stay for a drink in the Pine Room, which has live music on Thursdays and Fridays. It is a strong pick for couples and small groups who want a historic Dundee room with a serious whisky list.
