Tiny House Bar
A cocktail bar inside a converted 110-year-old house on South 13th Street in Little Bohemia, with a sister bar, The Platypus, in the green house next door. Seasonal house cocktails, Old World wines and local beer are served in small, moody rooms, and a camper out back doubles as a bookable karaoke bar.
Tiny House Bar is a cocktail bar in a converted house on South 13th Street in Little Bohemia. Owner Megan Malone opened it in 2019, and it now has a sister bar, The Platypus, in the green house next door. Both buildings are about 110 years old, and the pair are run together.
Inside, the rooms are small, dim and colorful, with plush seating and a few semi-private nooks at the back. Out back, a camper called The Honeybee works as a tiny karaoke bar that groups can reserve. The setting makes it feel more like a house party than a typical bar.
The cocktail menu changes with the seasons and is built around creative house drinks, organized by spirit, with Old World wines and local beer as well. Many cocktails have been offered as half-size, half-price "tiny" versions, which makes it easy to try a few in one visit without overdoing it.
It's a natural pick for a date, a birthday or a small group that wants a bar with personality. Tables, booths, semi-private rooms and the karaoke camper can all be booked on Tock, often with a deposit, and booking ahead is smart on weekends. Walk next door to The Platypus for a change of scene.
