Grand Patisserie

French-inspired pastry shop with a second location in Aksarben Village, run by a husband-and-wife team. There is no fixed menu; the owner rotates creations based on trips to French patisseries. Items have included tartes, millefeuille and pavlovas.

Grand Patisserie is a French-inspired bakery run by husband-and-wife owners Zied and Rafika Allam. Zied, who is from Tunisia, left a corporate job to bake full time. He began by giving pastries to friends for feedback and ran a weekend pop-up inside Roast in Aksarben Village from 2016 to 2019, before taking over the West Center Road shop.

Grow Omaha reported in October 2025 that a second location was planned at 2283 South 67th Street in Aksarben Village, in a space of about 2,800 square feet. That is the address this guide lists. The bakery grew its walk-in trade after the catering business slowed during COVID. The West Center Road shop's year-round pastries, as described by Grow Omaha, include croissants, pain au chocolat, macarons, chocolate mousse cake, millefeuille, pavlova, pistachio cake, baklava, almond and pear tarts, tiramisu and fruit tarts. Weekends add breads such as rye sourdough, focaccia and a braided za'atar loaf.

The Aksarben shop's own hours and current case were not available from an official source, and the menu rotates, so call or check the bakery's Facebook page. It is a good stop for dessert or something to bring back to the rental.
