Red Door Woodfired Grill

A warm, newer grill on Center Street cooking steaks, seafood and sandwiches over a wood fire, with a full bar and a busy dining room.

Red Door Woodfired Grill opened its Aksarben Village restaurant at 6680 Center Street in the week of June 2, 2026, according to Grow Omaha. It is the company's seventh location, after six in the Kansas City area, and it took over an 8,000-square-foot corner space that had been Spirit World. Founder Gary Zancanelli Jr. started the concept in 2013.

Everything is made from scratch and cooked over a pecan, oak and hickory blend the company calls its smoky trinity. The space has a bar, dining area and an outdoor patio, and the brand describes itself as an upscale neighborhood joint. The menu covers starters such as pretzel bites with smoked green chile queso, prime rib eggrolls and charred wings, plus a KC strip, soy flank steak, woodfired salmon, Cajun pasta and fish and chips. Handhelds include a prime rib French dip and a fried jalapeno chicken sandwich, with tacos, enchiladas and an Impossible burger alongside.

It suits dinner groups, game-night drinks and weekend brunch. Reservations are taken through Toast. There is a separate gluten-conscious menu, and the menu changes a few times a year.
