The Breakfast Club Omaha
A loud, colorful 1980s-themed breakfast spot in Aksarben with oversized plates and playful dishes. Expect a weekend wait and portions big enough to share.
The Breakfast Club is a brunch restaurant at 2121 South 67th Street in Aksarben Village, in the space once held by Jones Bros. Cupcakes. Grow Omaha reported the opening in June 2026 after permit records showed renovations underway. The restaurant describes this as the brand's newest location. The website pitches it as a relaxed brunch spot for breakfast favorites, coffee and cocktails, with mimosas a major feature. Instagram posts use 80s music and 80s vibes hashtags. A loaded breakfast burrito, MEGAmosas, a mimosa tower, loaded Bloody Marys and a crepe flight are all promoted.
The brunch menu is long and playful. Sweet and savory starters include breakfast corn dogs, breakfast egg rolls, a crepe flight and S'more donut holes. There are loaded hashbrowns, a section of benedicts, and sweet plates like a cannoli waffle and Banana Foster French toast. A lighter section and lunch items such as a smashburger round it out.
It is open daily from early morning to mid-afternoon, which makes it an easy choice for a group breakfast. Plates have creative names and range from classic omelets to more elaborate stacks, so groups can mix and match.
