Inner Rail Food Hall

Food hall in Aksarben Village with about nine vendors set around a central bar, plus an outdoor plaza with fire pits and games. Vendors include burgers, momos, sushi, Mexican, Mediterranean, subs, cafe fare and pizza. Open from 7:30 am daily.

Inner Rail Food Hall is a communal dining hall at 1911 South 67th Street in Aksarben Village. Aksarben Village describes it as nine vendors serving different cuisines around a central bar, some of them extensions of local favorites and others new to Omaha. The bar is called Backstretch Bar, a nod to Aksarben's horse racing history.

The vendor list on the hall's website includes All American Burger, Kathmandu Momo Station, Nori for sushi, Papi's Mexican Grill, Piato Modern Mediterranean, Sammy's Sub Shop, The Grove cafe and Tiny's Pizza Joint. Each counter keeps its own menu, so a group can order from several and share a table.

Outside, a plaza next to the hall is part of a certified entertainment district, where you can take drinks outdoors, with games and fire pits according to Visit Omaha. Backstretch Bar is open later than the food hall on most nights. It is a good choice for groups that cannot agree on a cuisine, for families, and for a casual meal near the Aksarben shops. The hall opens in the morning for coffee and breakfast. Vendors keep their own schedules, so check individual hours.
