AirbnbThis property is in need of repair and deep cleaning. The front screen door is broken. The dishwasher was full of stagnant water. We turned it on to drain it and water poured all out and drained downstairs which we then had to clean up. The washing machine isn’t drained properly so the water rushes out all over the floor before it makes its way to the tiny drain hole. This creates an unsafe condition. Games in the basement are mostly broken or missing pieces. Floors were filthy. Dishes needed to be washed before they could be used. General clutter.. for example a bucket of “ice melt” sitting on the front porch in September. Host was responsive about dishwasher but we declined maintenance and hand washed our dishes. Not sure we’d want to use the dishwasher anyway with the condition it is in. On the positive side, the home is nicely situated near many stores and restaurants. It was well stocked with supplies like towels and toilet paper. Decent home just needs maintenance.

We do want to clarify a few points for future guests. When the dishwasher concern was reported, we responded and offered, maintenance to inspect it, but that service was declined during the stay. Unfortunately, without access, we were unable to diagnose or correct the issue at that time.
The washing machine is designed to drain into the adjacent utility basin before the water exits through the plumbing. Based on the description provided, it is possible the drain hose had been displaced from its proper position. Again, this is something our maintenance team could have quickly inspected, corrected had we been given the opportunity.
We take cleaning and maintenance concerns seriously and will review the remaining items mentioned with our team. We always encourage guests to allow us the opportunity to inspect and resolve reported issues during the reservation rather than after checkout.
AirbnbThe house itself was cute, nicely decorated, and in a fantastic location—only about three minutes from the hospital, which was extremely important for us during our stay. Communication with the hosts was also good, and they did respond when issues came up.
Unfortunately, we experienced several significant problems during our stay. The air conditioning stopped working, and it took about two days for wall units to be brought in and another day before the main air conditioning issue was resolved. The house became extremely hot and uncomfortable during that time. We also had an issue with the dryer, which eventually needed to be replaced.
We understand that things can occasionally go wrong, and we appreciated that the hosts did work to address the problems. However, having both the air conditioning and dryer fail during our stay made the experience much more stressful and uncomfortable, so we could not rate the stay as five stars.
The location and the home itself have a lot going for it
Brian and Robbi were communicative throughout their stay, but the reservation required substantially more maintenance coordination than is typical. Several concerns were raised during the stay, including issues that had not been present beforehand, and our team spent considerable time investigating and addressing them. While the home was left in generally good condition, this was a more demanding reservation than normal. We wish Brian and Robbie the best in their future travels.

We respectfully disagree with this characterization. Our professional housekeeping and property-management systems document the condition of the home before and after each reservation. The cleaning concerns and property damage identified following Eric’s stay were documented immediately after checkout and were not present in the pre-arrival records.
Our findings are supported by dated photographs, housekeeping reports, maintenance assessments, and repair documentation. Eric also acknowledged that the home required additional cleaning and did not report the dishwasher leak until his group was departing, after the water intrusion had occurred.
No charges were submitted for preexisting damage. The reimbursement request was limited to newly documented cleaning, damage, and repair costs, with all supporting evidence provided to Airbnb for independent review. We stand behind the accuracy of our records and our original review.

We didn’t receive the house we had originally booked and the hosts suggested the new one would be as good as the original. It clearly wasn’t. The house smelled horribly like cigarette smoke when we arrived. One of the beds was broken and we could not use it so had to book a hotel room for one of the couples. The bath tub didn’t have a stopper so we could not bathe the baby. And then the heat broke and we had to sleep in a house that was 50 degrees, including two children (one a baby). It took the entire day to get the heat back up, and we could not be in the house for that entire day until the home had warmed up sufficiently, around 8pm. Truly terrible stay.

The guest agreed in advance to a property change, was sent the full listing link for review prior to confirming, and received a significant discount to offset the difference, which was disclosed as a smaller home. The alternative property met the advertised standards and amenities.
No concerns regarding smoke odor, bedding, or bathtub functionality were reported during the stay. These items were raised only after checkout, which unfortunately prevented us from inspecting or resolving them in real time. Pre-arrival documentation and a post-stay in-person inspection did not support the claims regarding smoke odor or a broken bed.
The only issue reported during the stay was a temporary heating malfunction. Once notified, maintenance was dispatched immediately, and the system was restored the same day. The furnace is a newer unit, and while the disruption was unexpected, it was addressed promptly. A courtesy refund was issued for the affected period.
We always encourage guests to reach out as soon as any concern arises so our team can assist right away. When notified during the stay, we are responsive and proactive in resolving issues.

AirbnbWe had a great stay! The house was in a fantastic location — within 20 minutes of the zoo and downtown Omaha, and very close to Target and lots of restaurants. The beds and linens were excellent, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We loved the layout with four bedrooms (three on the main floor and one in the basement), and that every room had its own TV. The foosball table, darts, and piano kept the kids entertained for hours, and the large driveway made parking easy.
The only small suggestion would be to add a few more towel hooks in the bathrooms, but overall, this was an excellent stay. I’d definitely stay here again!

Negative: The only thing was that the outside trash bins were very full when we arrived. I assume the last trash day was missed. That happens to the best of us sometimes! We just put our trash beside the bins on check out day.

AirbnbPerfect for kids and wonderful they accepted our pet. Highly appreciated and recommend this Airbnb. Everything was as described very comfortable and clean great location. Lots of restaurants and shopping, this Airbnb was used for wedding party everything was perfect.
AirbnbDan's place was exactly what we were looking for. The house was exactly as advertised. Everything was clean and free of clutter. We had 4 people and everyone had their own space. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It's perfect for evening walks or hanging out in the back yard. It's also close to everything you need from restaurants, grocery, or your big box stores. The kitchen has everything to cook any meal. The washer and dryer meant not having to find a laundromat. There is even a game room in the basement!
Dan and team are very proactive with instructions and recommendations; and very prompt in answering ant questions!
We would definitely stay here again!

AirbnbThis 1950s era gem is tucked away in a quaint neighborhood. Instantly when we walked in we could tell the upgrades were spot on. It has a minimalistic retro feel.
LOVED the comfortable beds with duvets and a generous supply of pillows. The kitchen was outfitted nicely. TVs in every room allowed for time away from the group (we had 10 people there). Luggage racks in each room. Spacious den downstairs with an oversized comfy sofa. Thich and rich towels. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided.
Close to everything one needs... grocery, gas, and a Target, etc. Fun games downstairs. Wonderful space for all of us. We enjoyed it so much!
Home was very nice. Upstairs bathroom is not equipped with bars or anti slippery tub mat.

We even hosted a Christmas morning brunch for our extended family, and it was seamless. The house is centrally located and near many amenities and restaurants. Wow, what a great location. We felt safe in the neighborhood and anywhere we wanted to go was like 10 minutes. Beds were comfortable. Everything was nice. We would definitely stay here again.
AirbnbWe enjoyed our stay at Dan’s place, however we did have a few issues with our host not being responsive. The home has clearly been quickly flipped. The tub did not hold water upstairs and the shower faucet was not securely fastened in the wall. The WiFi was not working and the router needed restarted. However, when asked the host was unresponsive. The A/C did not work very well and was very hot in the basement to sleep. The home needed a good thorough clean with lots of cob webs and a few items left behind from previous guests. The front screen door was missing the top portion of glass. When asking a question, the typical response time was 5 hours.

AirbnbThe house was spacious for my family, clean and everything was fine, only the AC didn't work. Dan sent a maintenance person to fix it, but even so, the AC was very light.
The house was clean and neat just like the description. However, there were a few things that could be improved. The upstairs tub needs a slip resistant mat for the bottom bc it gets slick. The tub stopper didn’t work so we had to use a rag to hold the water. There also was an abundance of hand towels but not many towels and wash rags so we were constantly washing them so everyone could shower. The ac didn’t cool the house well for summer. The tic tac toe board was missing pieces so that part wasn’t accurate. I messaged the owner a couple of times before we left and again while there, but didn’t receive a response. The neighborhood was great. Quiet and peaceful. Overall we had a positive experience, but reviews are important to me and I wanted to leave an accurate review for the next person and the owner. We had two families there. Everyone was adult age and two of them are special needs. I hope this review helps.

AirbnbIt was an okay stay overall, but did ran into some issues trying to go in. The code was not working when we first arrived, I had to call. They notified me that the door gets stuck so we had to push harder to open. I had ask if I could check in a little earlier since I had an award ceremony from graduation at 5 and check in was at 4 and we had to get ready, he wasn’t accommodating at all. So we had to get ready at the airport. Returning from the ceremony we couldn’t open the door again, I send a message to the host and he didn’t reply, I called the phone number provided and “the offices were closed”. I had to call Airbnb customer service, after 20 minutes we were given the new code. After that we didn’t have any issues with the door, but beds are not comfortable and they squeak a lot.
While we always strive to provide a welcoming and accommodating environment for all our guests, we regret to say that our experience with this guest was challenging. Despite our best efforts to address their needs and ensure a comfortable stay, it appears our offerings did not meet their expectations. We believe in constructive feedback and always encourage our guests to communicate openly with us to resolve any issues during their stay. Unfortunately, in this case, we found it difficult to meet the guest's expectations, even with our earnest attempts to do so. I would like to clarify that you also arrived prior to check in time before the door codes were active which is why you were unable to enter. We had already mentioned early check in wouldn't be possible.

Older home that was recently renovated with all new appliances. They even have sound machines available in every room. Check in and check out had clear instructions. Overall, it was a fun stay for our family.

I ended up having a few more guest and Dan mentioned before I could even ask that it was fine if we had more guest. There were plenty of blankets and towels/wash cloths for everyone which was a big plus for me since previous Airbnb’s I’ve been to didn’t have enough to accommodate for the amount of people listed that they could house. You will enjoy your stay!

Airbnbmy family stayed here for a staycation for Memorial Weekend. was a great quiet neighborhood with plenty to do around and plenty of places to eat. the home looked just like the pictures and there was space for everyone to hangout and relax. was a great place/stay and would deff book again!

For some reason there was only a couple of rolls of toilet paper, that had an impact one night, and the trash bins outside were heaping full when we arrived with a miscommunication on what day of the week the trash is collected.
very nicely decorated and situated.
I loved watching the squirrels acrobatics while I cooked.
Dan was proactive in communicating with us, and assisting us when needed.
