AirbnbThis property was perfect for our recent trip to Omaha. Parking was not a problem, check in and out was great and the place was clean. We needed more sheets and bedding for the pull out sofa. They responded right away and the housekeeper came by to provide the items requested.
The property is conveniently located in close proximity to the Atlas Apartments and Creighton University.
AirbnbDangerously low cable hanging across back parking lot and across bottom steps to apartment. Smelled horribly bad of cigarette smoke, large clumps of pet hair, broken toilet seat with urine stains on toilet base and NO body wash. Bed very uncomfortable. Nicely designed unit to have all the negative experiences.
Back parking not fit for pick up-no parking was available in front of unit as well.

When the missing body wash was reported, our team responded promptly and personally delivered it to the apartment. Despite our efforts to address concerns quickly and professionally, communication throughout the stay remained difficult.
This property is located in a midtown Omaha apartment building, and as stated in the listing, guests should expect normal city and apartment living noise. Parking is also accurately described as first-come, first-served, with additional street parking nearby. Guaranteed parking has never been advertised.
We appreciate the compliment regarding the unit’s design, but unfortunately based on this experience, we would not host this guest again.
AirbnbThe host left perfect and detailed instructions on the check in process. Upon arrival, the apartment was spotless and smelled good. They provided towels and clean linens. The area was safe and peaceful at night. I will be staying again in the future!

AirbnbI wouldn’t recommend staying here, especially if you plan to be in the unit during the day working. Noise was a constant issue. There was loud music from the downstairs neighbor and equally loud metal music from the upstairs neighbor, often at the same time. It was so disruptive that the music could be heard clearly during my Zoom calls, making it impossible to concentrate or work effectively. The music would start around 7:45 am and last all day.
In addition, the downstairs neighbor smokes, and cigarette smoke regularly traveled into the apartment, leaving the unit smelling strongly of smoke.
I reached out to the host, but they weren't able to do anything about the situation. It’s unfortunate, because the unit itself is nice, but due to the noise and smoke issues, it’s not a livable or workable space.

AirbnbThis apartment was in a great location - across the street from Turner Park which is always having fun public events and is close to downtown. It was a good space for the two of us but probably couldn’t fit more than that comfortably. It was also clean when we arrived. The only negative experience we had was being able to hear every single step, movement, and sound of the guests staying in the upstairs apartment.

AirbnbMy son and I stayed at Dans place and we really enjoyed our stay. The space was exactly what we needed, and I loved having the off street parking in the back of the home available to us (parked my lifted Ford Raptor in the back with ease).
We were able to use the kitchen (they have everything you need) and the fridge is huge in case you need space for a longer stay. The bed was very comfortable and it was a bonus to have a washer/dryer in the unit.
We felt very self/secure, and we were close to everything Omaha could offer. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, thanks for the stay and hospitality in your lovely home 😊

AirbnbThe apartment was clean and comfortable and as described. The only drawback would be if you are a light sleeper or want a quiet space, you can hear the people staying above you when they walk. In fairness, it is just the nature of an older building and there is nothing the host can do about it. Dan and his team are very responsive and easy to communicate with.

The Midtown location was close to plenty of restaurants & things-to-do in the Omaha area. He responded quickly & let us adjust our stay, not once but TWICE, with ease.
Things were clean and well stocked; plenty of extra towels, linens and blankets!
We had few questions, but the ones we did have were answered timely. Most importantly, we ran into zero issues with any part of our stay.
Overall, a 5-star stay!
AirbnbOur stay at this property was everything we wanted in a weekend getaway and more. Check in was a breeze. We were able to park in the back of the property but note, it’s a tight squeeze for anything larger than a midsized suv. My husband kept calling me Austin Powers with my 85 point turns. There was also tons of free street parking so it’s a non issue. The property was just as advertised, clean, and easy to find. The monster sized bed was super comfy and I could probably live in it. I did have to get a running start to get in as it’s pretty high but I wasn’t mad about it.
This was a great property and we really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts checked in and communicated very well. We would stay again and recommend to others.
Bonus additional thought…tons of available towels! That’s a huge plus.

AirbnbThe apartment was spectacular. Clean and beautiful. The bed was huge and cozy. The apartment was in a central location and the neighbors were colorful, but friendly. The one big negative is you can hear conversations through the walls and people walking around above you.
AirbnbThe place was very clean and nice. Very aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. I will give you a heads up that you can hear anything and anybody. Whether they are walking around, going up the stairs or even just talking the walls are “thin”.
Location is great if you’re looking to be close to midtown (as it’s literally in walking distance) or downtown. I would recommend maybe some water or snacks for guests as the kitchen was immaculately clean but bare.

AirbnbOne of the best airbnbs we have stayed in. We can tell that no expense was spared when the owner remodeled the unit. The location was great, the neighbors were quiet and the space easily accommodated my husband and I having to work remotely and had plenty of space for our 6 month old twins to sleep and play. We did have an issue getting into the unit but called the number and was resolved right away. Parking in the rear was not an option as the neighbors 3 cars took up 4 spots but we easily parked on the street. We’d stay again.

My wife and I and our four-legged girl were in town for the college World Series. We were pleasantly pleased with the unit and location! We were within walking distance of an excellent pizza establishment and local park for walking our Pet. The property was convenient for downtown. We would definitely stay here! And the TN VOLS are National Champs!
This place had everything we needed for a Omaha getaway trip. Great location and short drive to Old Town. Would stay here again.
AirbnbIt was a nice place! The building is pretty old and you can hear the neighbors above through the creaky floors so just be aware of that. It did wake us up. The kitchen is well stocked and having a washer and dryer was useful.
AirbnbOverall, this was a solid stay. Newly renovated, laundry in-unit, easy parking and ample space to work during the day. The unit is centrally located so you can easily check out the surrounding areas.
The building was still being renovated during our stay so there was some construction noise during the weekdays.

My husband, sister, and I (all busy professionals) wanted to coordinate a trip to attend our niece's graduation from Creighton, and Dan's property stood out as a perfect home base. From booking to checkout, every detail of our experience was convenient, thoughtful, and timely. We had considered booking a hotel suite but wanted to make the most of our short time together. Dan's place was cozy, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly suited for hangouts over coffee, meeting family in town during the day, and evening re-cap sessions. Every trip is unique, of course, but if you're a couple or small group, Dan's Blue Oasis could be an ideal home away from home in Omaha for you too.
