AirbnbMinor issues but they were quickly addressed. Beautifully decorated apt. Large space great for family. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Close to everything. Downtown isn’t too far. Would recommend to others and would def stay again.
I was unaware how many steps from street to sidewalk , from sidewalk onto porch and then inside front door 17 more steps, just completed full knee replacement 6 weeks earlier. Over thirty steps to reach apartment. Loved layout and best equipped kitchen i ever experienced.

The host was not responsive but would send generic automated messages while ignoring other questions. While the listing had it listed at “unit 2” it was unclear that this unit was at the back of the building and upstairs. Both the sink and the tub were clogged so bad the water would pool. I was able to clear the sink but didn’t even bother to message the host since he was unresponsive. My biggest issue was there is a door in the living room that seems to lead to a different unit or at the very least leads down some stairs. I could open this door making me think that anyone down there could as well. If it was mentioned in the listing as a service door or something of the sort it would have made me feel more comfortable however it was not so I didn’t know who could access it which is very concerning. The place was decorated nicely but I would not stay here or with this host again.

We respectfully disagree with several statements in this review. The concern regarding the interior door appears to stem from a misunderstanding of the property's layout. The apartment has both a front and rear entrance, and the door referenced is simply one of the apartment's secured entry points. Both entrances have separate deadbolt locks, and the layout is explained in the check-in instructions provided prior to arrival.
What is most surprising is that the concerns regarding the door, plumbing, and host responsiveness were never communicated during the stay. The only issue reported upon arrival was a damaged blind and an odor concern. Had any of the other concerns been brought to our attention, we could have answered questions or addressed them immediately.
We encourage guests to review the information provided and contact us during their stay if clarification is needed.

AirbnbIch war rundum sehr zufrieden mit dem AirBnB – es gibt wirklich nichts zu bemängeln. Die Kommunikation mit Dan war von Anfang an unkompliziert, schnell und sehr angenehm.
In der Wohnung war alles vorhanden, was man zum Leben braucht, und alles befand sich in einem sehr guten Zustand. Zudem war die Wohnung ausgesprochen sauber.
Dan hat sich große Mühe gegeben, meinen Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten – das weiß ich sehr zu schätzen. Vielen Dank für alles!

While we don’t have control over public interactions outside the building, guest safety is a priority—there is controlled access throughout the property, including all entry points and common areas.
The apartment itself is fully private and not a shared space, ensuring guests have a secure and comfortable stay inside the unit. We remain available to assist guests during their stay whenever needed.
AirbnbThis place was in the heart of Omaha. It was so easy to find as the doors are yellow and its so cute! The place was spacious yet well designed, clean, and free of clutter. There were instructions of what to do, and where to go for restaurants nearby. I would 100% stay here again!

AirbnbLovely apartment. Near the highway for easy access; off the main raod so it was mostly quiet. Perfect for a single or couple looking for a peaceful stay.
Note: there are stairs to get up to the apartment. Parking behind the unit can be a bit snug, so if you have a larger vehicle (bigger than say a Subaru Forester) you may want to park on the street.

AirbnbEnjoyed my stay, very nicely furnished. Hosts are very communicative, had a small issue during my stay and they resolved it quickly. Would stay there again. However, the apartment is not sound proofed very well and you can hear everything in the apartment downstairs which doesn’t bother me a ton but sometimes was annoying
Elizabeth was a great guest and communication was easy throughout her stay. We’re glad she enjoyed the space and appreciated how quickly we were able to help when a small issue came up.
There were just a couple minor items noted after checkout, but nothing major. Overall, we enjoyed hosting her and would be happy to welcome her back.

AirbnbReally enjoyed the apartment. Nicely furnished and felt very homey without being cluttered. Dan and his team were always responsive with the few questions I had. When I arrived, I wasn’t able to get my car up the driveway after it had snowed but within 12 hours, they had salted and shoveled the driveway and walkways after I mentioned it to them.
Location was perfect and the apartment was so cute and cozy. It had everything we needed and would definitely stay here again.

AirbnbI stayed at Dans place for 5 nights, worked from there several days and went to my son’s hs baseball tournament. Getting around was very easy, good places to eat nearby, east drive into downtown Omaha. The place was clean, easy to work from, a well stocked kitchen and the beds were comfortable. I read some reviews about noise and air conditioning: I didn’t hear the neighbors at all and was there during a wicked heat wave and the apartment stayed cool, no problem. Also, the shower was draining a little slowly, I reached out to Dan and a plumber came by quickly and fixed it.
AirbnbWe enjoyed our stay very much. Wish the mattress was better quality and the TV/connection was easier. We could not for the life of us figure out how to access basic stations for baseball games or streaming from our phones. The location was great for the college world series, we were close enough to the stadium without being in the middle of the stadium chaos at night. We did have a rental car that made it easier to drive instead buying Uber’s for every time we wanted to head to games/restaurants. If planning to walk to MCWS, this spot is too far. Overall our stay was great.

AirbnbDan’s retro glam space was perfect for the 2+ weeks I was here. The space had a lovely living room, a comfortable bed, and laundry in unit. I cannot say enough about how great it was to have a parking space (though the back is a little tight!). I felt safe in this neighborhood and there were cute restaurants across the street. Staircase to get up to the second floor apartment, so something to consider for those with mobility issues. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others. Thanks, Dan!

AirbnbThe place was very clean, good communication from the host, appropriately well stocked for a rental, cute decor, comfy bed, strong internet, and no issues with parking. We only had two complaints, but they were large enough to knock off two stars because they largely affected the overall comfort of the stay. The central AC just does not work well enough to cool the apartment in the heat of the summer. We could not get it below 81 degrees until there was a short cold front and we opened the windows. When that passed after a day, we were certain to close up the windows to give the AC a chance but the temperature still went right back up. The bedroom has a window AC unit that kept that room nice and cool, but the kitchen and living room areas were not comfortable. The other issue was that the shower and sink drains do not drain well. We were up to our ankles in shower water after just two minutes.

AirbnbOf all the places I have stayed this was my favorite, 11 out of 10, it has everything imaginable even a blender which I loved, spice selection, takeaway containers dan thought of it all. They even had snack bars for the hungry traveler.
I mixed up my arrival time and Dan got me in early and was polite with me when I was frustrated and confused with him and he very well could have given me snap back, he did not and was understanding considerate and very helpful.
I highly recommend this Bnb you will not be disappointed.
